An experimental version of the tintii plugin for users of 64-bit Photoshop CS4 on Windows is now available. It may be downloaded from here. A couple of minor bug fixes have also been made to the 32-bit Windows, Mac and Linux releases, all of this coming under a new version number of 2.2.3.
The standard version of tintii will work for most users. The 64-bit version is only required if you are specifically using the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS4 on Windows. As this version is very fresh, please let me know whether or not it works for you.

Hi Irina. Not much more to say at this stage, other than you’ll need this version if you’re running the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS4. You may have the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS4, in which case the standard version works fine. Both downloads are at http://www.indii.org/software/tintii/download.

I tried to install Tintii for my 64-bit Photoshop CS4, and it didn’t install. When I launched Photoshop, it said the same as Mariarti above mentioned (the same message as Mariarti posted: http://fastpic.ru/view/2/2010/0213/7eb4a3ee07008905d2ad5a7293a8f788.jpeg.html). When I go to Help > System Info, it says “Plug-ins that failed to load: tintii NO VERSION – – from the file “tintii.8bf”Flash:”
Now how do I uninstall it??? Whenever I launch Photoshop now, I get the message, “One or more plugins are currently not available on your system”.
Tintii doesn’t show up in Add/Remove programs, so I can’t remove it from there.
PS, I also tried to send you a message to the above, “Let me know” link, and it came back to me as undeliverable.

Sorry that you’ve had trouble with this Peg. I’m working on an update at the moment that should resolve these issues on 64-bit Windows, and expect to have that out within a couple of weeks.
I’m surprised that tintii is not appearing in Add/Remove Programs, and I’ll look into this for you. For now, just find your Photoshop Plug-Ins directory (the install instructions at http://www.indii.org/software/tintii/download might help), and delete the tintii.8bf file there. The standalone program should be in your Program Files under indii.org if you want to delete that too.

Am I correct in thinking that Corel purchased Jasc, or at least Paint Shop Pro, and Jasc Paint Shop Pro is just an older version of what is now Corel Paint Shop Pro? Certainly you can try it out and see if it works with your version, I can’t help too much with installation unfortunately, but the instructions at http://www.indii.org/software/tintii/download may help, or simply Google for how to install plugins.

To those interested in 64-bit, this should now be working as of version 2.3.0, on both Windows (Photoshop CS4 & CS5) and Mac (Photoshop CS5). See http://www.indii.org/software/tintii/download for the latest version.
